Unfortunately, there are sane, productive Christians who once had spiritual power, but have lost it along the way. They have started looking like the world and have created bad habits of insane un-productivity. Last week I gave you the first example of The 7 Bad Habits Of Insane, Unproductive Christians. If you didn’t get a chance to read it click here. Here is the 2nd bad habit (that you should steer clear of)…
We live in a world where there’s insane, unproductive people all around. They may believe that they are sane and productive, by keeping themselves busy and financially successful. But they don’t realize that without God, this idea and belief system is actually insane and unproductive, because it will not last.
Well, Christians are not exempt from living or thinking this way as well. Christians may feel as though they have it all together, once they accept Christ. They keep themselves busy doing the Lord’s work and if God blesses them to become financially successful, they’ve got it made! Right?
But the fact of the matter is, their problems are only beginning. As the saying goes, “if Satan hasn’t affected you with struggles and pain on a regular basis, then you don’t really know God!”

Did you know that fear will kill you? If not, don’t be surprised, most people don’t think this way – but I do and here’s why!
Fear is an emotion created by Satan. His goal is to keep you with a fearful life, mind and spirit, so you won’t accomplish anything in this life. His goal is to cripple you and create an imaginary boogey monster in your mind to stop you from fulfilling your dream. His goal is to create fear within your heart, so you won’t honor God.
There was once a young, vibrant woman, who was lacking something in her life. She had lived a hard, un-fulfilling life and wanted a drastic change. She was tired of living a lie. She was tired of her marriage. She was tired of feeling empty and bitter. She was Tired of Being Tired. She was lost… And now it was time for a change!
One day, a co-worker spoke to her because she noticed how depressed and down she was. She spoke about Jesus and how he could change her life, if she only trusted him. The lady felt that she had nothing to lose and she was tired of living a lie. She wanted to fill her void.
A few days ago Jason Collins came out as the first, black, openly gay, NBA basketball player. He says he didn’t set out to be the first, but he couldn’t hold back any longer. He wanted to be free. It doesn’t surprise me – but honestly it does upset me.
The reason it upsets me is because Chris Broussard, the ESPN sportswriter, who is Christian, took a stand against homosexuality by saying that he believed in marriage being between a man and woman. And now his ESPN job is on the line for doing so.
