Do you have a problem with patience? I do. I live day to day striving to be the best I can be, doing the will of God, and being tested at the same time. I am always in a hurry. I am always trying to get to the next thing. I am always thinking ahead.

Maybe you can relate. Maybe you can’t. But most people live this kind of lifestyle. Hurrying to this and hurrying to that. Always speeding along and wondering why nothing gets done.
Well Satan wants you to feel this way. He wants to discourage you. He wants you to feel like you are doing the things of God that won’t amount to anything. He wants you to believe that your work is in vain…
But God’s “season” is not your season. When you are in a hurry, God is taking His time. He’s grooming you for bigger and better things. And He doesn’t want you to get ahead of yourself. You may not understand His timing and why your prayers are taking so long to be answered, but God doesn’t work on your schedule – He works on His. And believe me, you’re work is NOT in vain!
Sometimes I feel as though God’s timing is a secret. And this secret I must figure out. It can be stressful and discouraging at times, because when I do the will of God and I seem to go backwards – I want to give up. But then I read this scripture from Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
As I am writing this blog – I am constantly reminding myself not to become weary because…
- Satan is trying to discourage me – when I know I’m on the right track.
- Patience usually comes through our trials.
- God is building my character to glorify Him.
The Bible promises you that God will never be late – or early for that matter! But He’s always on time…
Let’s hear from you! Are you struggling with patience in your life? How can we help?
Be blessed,
Wanda
