Trust in the power of Hope!

Trust in the power of Hope!

Hope defered makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12

I define hope as “the happy anticipation of good things.” You can hope for something good to happen to you by learning how to celebrate and enjoy life.

Everything in life is a process in motion. Without movement and progression there in no life. As long as you live you are always heading somewhere, and you should enjoy yourself on the way. God created you to be a goal-oriented visionary. Without a vision you become bored and hopeless.

But there’s something about hope that makes people lighthearted and happy. Hope is a powerful spiritual force that is activated through your positive attitude. God is positive and He wants positive things to happen to you, but that probably won’t happen unless you have hope and faith.

Expect God to bring good out of every circumstance in your life. Whatever happens, trust in the Lord……and trust in the power of hope.

    Have a blessed day!!

    Invest in a Pure Heart!

    Invest in a Pure Heart!

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8

Purity of the heart is not a natural trait-it is something that must be worked in you. I believe purging and purity go together. Purging is a tedious process in which worthless things are removed, while the things of value are retained. Removing the worthless without harming the valuable requires an expert- and God is an expert!

He’s like the refiner who sits over the fire where gold and silver are being refined. He never leaves you or one second, but watches over you. And when impurities are being extracted, He makes sure the valuable things in you are not harmed.

God was willing to pay the price to redeem you. Are you willing to pay the price to have purity in your life-purity of motives, thoughts, attitudes, words, and actions? Think of more than the moment. What feels good now may bring destruction later. But what seems costly now will pay rich rewards.

    Have a Blessed week!!

    Enjoy yourself!

    Enjoy yourself!

There is nothing better for a man than that he should eat and drink and make himself enjoy good in his labor. Even this, I have seen, is from the hand of God. Ecclesiastes 2:24

We all have things that must be done, but God wants us to enjoy our life’s journey. If we are too busy, we will block the flow of what the Holy Spirit wants to do through us.

Busyness keeps us from being fruitful in the kingdom of God. God didn’t put us here just to work, strive, accumulate things, and become stressed out. He wants us to enjoy Him and His creation.

Take time to enjoy what God has even you. Enjoy your family, your home, and yourself today.

    Enjoy your day!!
