June 25th, 2009christianityAnd I am convinced and sure of this very thing, That He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ (right up to the time of His return), developing (that good work) and perfecting and bringing it in full completion in you. Philippians 1:6None of us has arrived. We are all in the process of becoming. In Romans 7, Paul said the good things he wanted to do, he could not do; and the evil things he did not want to do, he always found himself doing. He said he felt wretched. You probably relate to that feeling. We all have a long way to go, and Satan seems to enjoy reminding us daily.
If you struggle with a constant sense of failure, adopt a new attitude. Tell yourself tonight, “I am not where I need to be, but thank God I am not where I used to be. I’m okay, and I’m on my way!”
Stay prayerful!!

June 18th, 2009christianity, generalStop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life……who of you worrying and being anxious, can add one unit of measure (cubit) to his stature or to the span of his life? Matthew 6:25,27Many people worry about everything, including what they will or not eat or wear, or what they will do if a particular situation occurs.
Most of us have enough clothes, adequate food, comforable houses, and serviceable cars. But when things get tough and you are faced with situations that seem impossible, the devil says, “What are you going to do now?” The temptation comes back to worry, but that isn’t the answer.
God wants you to know that worrying doesn’t add to your life-in fact, it will surely shorten it if you make it a habit. Your heavenly Father knows about all the things you need before you ask Him. So stop worrying and focus your attention on the one who is able to provide everything you need, and more. Trust Him!

June 5th, 2009christianity, religionI will call upon the Lord, Who is to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies. Psalm 18:3In Deuteronomy 7:1-2, God instructed His people to utterly destroy their enemies. They were to show no mercy. When God tells us it is time to deal with our negative, faithless attitudes, it is time to throw away our excuses. No more rationalizing, ” Well, everybody else is negative; why should I be any different?”
Get some things over with, in your life today. Get rid of bad habits and negative attitudes and move on with the future God has for you. Pray: “Lord, please help me to change. Show me the root of my problem and how to get over it. I want positive changes in my life.”
Pray for change……
