God Matters

simply believe!

In this world, you don’t believe anything until you see it. When you pray, believe that you receive, and you will get the manifestation in it. In God’s kingdom, you have to believe it first, and then you see.

Jesus said, “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer” (Matthew 21:22). God’s ear is turned toward those who pray to Him in faith. Peter was the only one who walked on water besides Jesus, but he was also the only one who got out of the boat. Until you make a decision to believe, and then act on it, nothing will happen.

freedom and liberty!

Jesus came to set the captives free. You are not free to do whatever you feel like doing, but you have been set free from legalism and are now free to follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit. A legalistic mentality says that everybody has to do exactly the same thing, the same way, all the time. But realize tonight the Spirit of God leads us individually, and often in unique, creative ways.

Jesus wants you to have liberty and not legalism. If the Son has set you free, you are free indeed (see John 8:36). You are free from sin. Free from manipulation and control. Free from competition with others. Free from addiction. Free from fear. Free from selfishness. Free to be who you are.
